Dead in Tombstone – Movie Review

Starring Danny Trejo, this movie was about a group of villains who steal and kill people during the early times of the West. The time period wasn’t exactly definitely noted, but it seemed like Western/cowboy style. This movie started with a robbery of a town for their gold, but this was all a stick up on Danny Trejo’s character. However, when he goes to hell he makes a deal with the devil that he will kill all the members of his ex gang including his half-brother who killed him for the devil. By the end of the movie all of his ex gang are dead and he becomes the Devil’s outlaw.

This movie was well written, the producing and directing wasn’t that noticeable, however the editing was good. I believe this movie was worth a watch but wasn’t very good. A lot of the way the movie was made seemed not believable or real. I would rate this movie a 6 out of 10.

Bad Ass 2: Bad Asses – Movie Review

The sequel to Bad Ass and its original are one of my favorite fighting movies. They are funny, serious, and entertaining all in one. These movies are two of the best indie, cult movies I have ever seen. After the first one was made it became an instant Netflix cult movie.

The first one tells the story of an older man whose videos went viral of him beating up two thugs on a bus, soon he has to find out who killed his friend in his area. The second one he sets up a boxing ring, where some of the kids who practice there are also drug dealers on the side; one of his dearly beloved students is killed by higher up people in his drug world. Then he decides to find out who killed one of his boxing kids and finally kill him in return. In this movie he also has a sidekick in Danny Glover’s character.

The sequel is so great, yet cheesy. But is cheesy for so many good reasons. Also, in this movie, things seem to always go right, which isn’t bad, but is just an observation. I would rate this movie a 9.5 out of 10.
