The Alps from Above – Documentary

This documentary showed the Alps throughout the year with narration describing different areas of the video and how it is used during different times of year. This movie showed picturesque views of the Alps in Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland. This movie helped me understand more about the Alps and what they do during the summer seasons. It also helped me understand how the locals use the Alps to their advantages, for example making crops on its mountain tops.

This movie was really well filmed. I recommend this movie to all people who like climate and nature documentaries. I rate this movie a 7 out of 10.

K2: Siren of the Himalayas – Documentary Review

This movie is a really good representation of a group of climbers who aim to climb probably the most difficult mountain in the world. Even though not the tallest, it is the most difficult.

This movie chronicles a group’s aim at trying to reach the summit. This movie also uses footage from a famous achieved climb to the summit from 100 years ago. The disasters that happen all the time at K2 are incredible, because the terrain and weather is so difficult to handle.

This movie shows the passion of the climbers, their determination, and their love for the sport. This documentary is really worth a watch. I would rate this movie an 8 out of 10.
