I’ll have what Phil’s having – TV show review

This TV show starred the writer and mind behind the comedy show Everybody Loves Raymond. When he is not writing comedy, he is a hilarious food lover. This show documents his times in different cities where he experiences some of the worlds most amazing food.

The host of the show is so perfect for this show. Laidback, funny, and smart. He really shows what he knows about food. I found the places they went to to be obvious choices like France and Italy. I would have liked more variation. I learned a lot from this show, which is what it aims to do, being on PBS. I loved the directing and the producing,I just feel like the writing was let down.

I would recommend this show to anyone and would rate it an 8 out of 10.

Girl Eat World Season 1 – TV Season Review

This show really showed that the culinary and food world is not only run by men. This food show had a South African MasterChef winner as a presenter, who goes to different cities and experiences their cultures and food. She meets all these different food bloggers, like herself, that have passion and dedication to their cities food and dining industry.

This docu-series was very entertaining and really showed me that anyone can do something they put their mind to. It really showed me how devoted to food the presenter is and how much of a great cook she is. Her use of vocabulary to describe the food and her use of skills in the kitchen really showed. In my opinion, she was a very good presenter and host.

Overall, I would recommend this show to anyone and would rate it a 9 out of 10.
