See No Evil, Hear No Evil – Movie Review

This movie was very hilarious, even though at times I felt guilty for laughing. As everyone who has probably watched this movie know this is the classic comedy with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. Richard Pryor plays a blind guy, and Gene Wilder plays a deaf guy. Between them they try to catch a villain team and put them behind bars. Through the laugh out loud funny scenarios that happen in this movie based around their disabilities was great, yet at times I feel kinda bad about laughing.

Even though this movie was cheesy, kind of offensive, I still think it was very funny. I would rate this movie an 8 out of 10.

Wet Hot American Summer – Movie Review

After finally watching this cult early 2000s comedy movie. I now understand what all the fuss is about a bit more. At first I couldn’t get into it, but after relating to the movies it is aiming to spoof I can understand some of the undertones, lines, and comedy behind it. It was a very clever movie, obviously written by comedy geniuses. This movie should be put as one of the cleverest movies I have seen in a long time. It’s not an obviously hilarious movie, its a thinking movie, and there are some great actors including Bradley Cooper and Amy Poelher.

The basis of the spoofing in this comedy cult is 80s summer camp movies. This movie tries its hardest to achieve spectacular comical scenes on the summer camp classics of the 80s. The makeup, clothes, atmosphere of the movie was set out like an 80s and the lines/scenes were so smartly done to mimic things portrayed in these movies.

If you haven’t already seen this movie I would recommend for anybody interested in a smart, witty, and funny movie. I would rate this movie an 8 out of 10 overall.
