I hadn’t heard much about this movie before watching it. But I was excited about it because it has one of my favorite actors, Chris O’Dowdy, in it. This movie is a comedy/drama about a group of sisters & cousins who become a girl musical group and go to Vietnam to entertain soldiers during the war. The movie is based in the 60s and takes place in both Australia and Vietnam.
This movie was amazingly well done. The acting was great, the music was super, there was even some great comical scenes. This movie hit all the points for a good movie. The plot was well written, maybe helped on by the fact that it was based on a real-life story. I would give this movie a 10 out of 10 overall. I recommend it to anyone in the mood for humor, music, and even dramatic acting.
